We are 9th in the league, behind the mighty WBA and Swansea. Take a moment to take that in. Our squad is better than that isn't it? The fact that these team are ahead of us and might actually seriously end up higher than us doesn't sit well with me.
Up until now I've stuck up for Rodgers, but now, it's time to win games, until that happens, I'm not sure anymore. How about teaching the team to follow a player during a set piece, Arsenal scored from a set piece, they never do that.
We need a serious clean out in the summer, starting with most of our defenders and Midfielders.

Have to say that I too am loosing it with him. It's all well and good playing well and not winning at the mighty Swans but not here. He has to stay until the summer but I'm starting to think why keep him any longer if we finish where we are which looks likely.

I'm tending to not lump all the blame on Rodgers. While he was a bit of a dip to choose Shelvey to play, the players need to take a look in the mirror and ask themselves why that can't get their shot on target, especially when they practice doing it every day.
I'm a drummer, my Job when I'm in a studio, or playing live is to play what has been ask of me, or what I know how to play, and I very rarely mess up, and if I do, it will be a circumstances like breaking or dropping a stick. But if I was paid as much as these players to play drums, I would make sure that I could do what I rehearsed to do. I know it's a different context, but why can't they do what they are trained to do?
I will give Rodgers till next year, but the clear out of all our [oops] players has got to start from now. It's finally hit me how bad they are.

The thing that worries me about a clear out is who will FSG let us buy?
I think Rodgers will still be here next season but unless he manages to change his and the players mentality I don't think it'll be long into the season before he gets the boot.

Rodgers shoulda kicked off last night i would of had more respect for him.
Worst lfc performqnce for a long time. see reina was letting shots go through him again. agger out of position and we now see why jc is retiring.
Sterling just played for a new contract and borini is never a footballer. lucas is five yards off the pace and downing is just downing.
Fuming i am f..kin fumin

agree with the sentiment but too easy to have a pop at downing who actually played very well.

We are in desperate need of a couple of big, tough defensive type players.
We need competition for Lucas, I say go for Diame, even if it means tapping him up a little, we could of had him for free, and it was all set up, but like the last few seasons, we ballsed it up.
We also need a couple of centre backs, that can deal with crosses. And can handle a bit of pressure. Even Agger is struggling now. But to be fair, he needs a tough man, like Carra was a few seasons ago, to get into it, while he clears the mess.
Left back. Enrique will play better with competition, and someone who will stop attacks coming from that side, both goals came from that side.
Another Striker. Sturridge was out, and it showed. If he had played, I believe we would have scored and probably won. Rodgers didn't even put Boroni in, to fill his spot, which can't be good for his confidence. Instead, old Shelvey went in, and didn't do too well. I still have hope for Boroni, he was decent in Italy, but hasn't been able to find his feet yet, but he's got age on his side.
Creative mid. Need someone to challenge Coutinho, Man, I hope there is some truth to the Eriksson rumours, go all out for the guy.
FSG need to pay up, otherwise we're going to continue growing at snails pace, and by the time our decent players start getting good, they will be sick of waiting and will leave. Stop messing around FSG.

A couple of the players were decent - but i don't understand how Rodgers can say they played well overall. I know LFC had the most shots on target, but there were only a couple of good saves Foster had to make. That and how many times did we give the ball away!? it was madness!
No excuse to lose to WBA at home though; feels like after getting two draws away to Arsenal and City we have just undone the hard work and are behind again now.

The things that never happen to united?
He's got to get rid of that type of line and rip into the team.
