Please,Please,Please Mr Rodgers could you for once admit that it was partly your fault? Personally, if you came out and said that, you would go up 80% in my books!

Took us apart game 1, many months on with a squad that are far better the same outcome. It is getting harder to arrive at any other conclusion however unpalettable it may be.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

I find it hard to believe its rodgers fault that players who have been playing quite well this season couldnt string more than 2 passes together.
I think most of the players think they can get in the top 4 just by fan belief and history alone and its just not gonna happen they need to fight.

He started Shelvey last night to get the same reaction as he got from Downing and Henderson, unfortunately he got the reverse. He should have changed things at halftime, didn`t and we got worse instead of better.

ok fair post but when liverpool were bad under benitez many many times early on and at the end benitez and the fans always blamed the players and everyone agreed with that course of action ,but now fans want that changing , when last night was clearly a bad mix of poor play and a poor choice if line up , but Liverpool would have won 1-0 but the immune gerrard doesn't get no blame for a dire peno that make no mistake would have won the game .

Gerrard was awful last night, nothing whinds me up more than this legend [oops]. Much overused phrase on average [oops].
Now don`t get me wrong he certainly will be a legend when he stops playing, but as well as he has been playing this year (until last night) lets not forget for the seasons before that has been average.

The problem with Rodgers is he had put all his eggs in the Premier League basket and it was always a bad choice, gamble or whatever u want to call it. We finished with barely over 50 points last season, we won just 3 games against Everton, Norwich City and Chelsea after 1st of January until the end of the season, if the league went on another month or so we would surely of been relegated as our slump was really that bad, the point I am making anyone with half a brain could see we were never gonna go from that to a top 5 or 6 place, that's why Rodgers should of concentrated on battles he had a chance of winning which was domestic cup success, this would of give him breathing space and more time in the job. He has now gambled all that away with weak teams in cups which has left him no room now, the knives are out and he will do well to stay in the job next season, he has brought it all on himself, I can't defend him...
