Definitely not disgusted. Dishearted... Yes. Winded... Yes. But sometimes this is going to happen. I can't quite believe that we can dominate a game, and not win. It shows for me that not buying another striker in January was a mistake, just because that would have pushed us on to grab more goals and be able to mix up our attack. When you contemplate WBA's attacking options, they are still better than ours, in terms of quantity and diversity. I really wish we had signed another striker. Right now, I'm livid at the result. I thought we still did enough to win. The standard of our play after missing the penalty was very poor. Thats the biggest disappointment. cant believe it? we are always fckin doin it!!!

It happens too often where we dominate games and lose! It's a sign of weakness in mentality in my opinion!

It was typical of what we've been seeing time and time again. Dominate the stat sheet but lose where it matters most. The scoreboard. The two league matches against West Brom are probably the two worst of the year. They can't find the back of the net against them once in 180+ minutes? Putrid.

putrid, nice word.
what bothers me is, we were supposedly playing well, possession, chances etc. and we still cant win. its a different kettle of fish if you are simply beaten by a better team. we keep doing ourselves in.
there is a poisoned attitude at the club.

I think the difference, ChicagoSaxon, is that our results and performances over the last 2 months or so (excluding cup competitions) have been very positive. Playing well, and not just on the stats sheets. That we repeated the same mistakes as earlier in the season was disappointing, hence the shock. Agger's head definitely dropped. Unbelievably bad defending on his part for both goals.

Unbelievably bad defending on his part for both goals. They crapped the bed against Oldham, gave up 4 points against City and Arsenal, now this. Where is the sense of urgency and hunger to finish matches and get 3 points? It seems to be what's lacking the most. They typically dominate the stat sheet only to draw or lose against decent or top end clubs. They are so bloody close but can't finish. You can't face Norwich every week.
