Sturridge and Coutinho are cup tied for it which is disappointing

Pete: Berg, I'm just not cut out to be a good person.
Berg: I know. That's why the Lord gave us good looks.

We all know Rodgers will play his usual weak team, the man treats cup competitions with contempt, he sees them as a hindrance in our quest for 7th place and worse of all fans agree with this policy, must never of heard the saying beggars can't be choosers and we are firmly now in that bracket regarding Cups...

stanley do you know the funny thing about resting players or fielding weakend teams, what are they saving them for if they are out of everything in January and nothing to play for come the end of March and April anyway, just defeats the object of the purpose. If you look at us, This Rodgers feller started resting players against Hearts which was about 2 weeks into the start of the season yet the week before he had them running up hills probably in pre season training trying to get them fit, why not play the games and use that as fitmess build up for the season too, absolute madness, how can players need a rest barely two weeks into a new season. We have been resting players and fielding weak team all through the season to date and here we are not even into February properly and we are out of every cup competition bar the Europa which in all honesty we will be surely bounced out and all chance of 4th place which some thought we would get completely gone, we are barely out of January and the season is virtualy over, what good was resting players, how has is helped or benefited the season...

I don't agree with resting players full stop they train every day why do they need to be rested? Why can't play two games a week they are ultra fit professionals and by the way they have three months off and only work half days when they are working,
