skertal was also at fault he should have sorted that. He then leaves it to a rampaging goalie who should know better. two games against city and two f..k ups

if the keeper comes and calls then the defender has to step back. hard to blame skittles.

No he was better placed in that position . It was going harmlessly wide. Its not as if it was central and in the danger area. He should have took control IMO.

Agreed, tough to blame to Martin (can never spell his surname). All Pepe's fault.
I hope he stays as a little more progression and I think his head will be back in the game, but if he wants to go, sell him with little fuss and replace with Vorm or Bekovic, or similar.

I confess I'm one who thought Sturridge would be a good player, not a great one. Hie performance today was outstanding, he creates space with ease and his close control is fantastic. Think he'll be a real player for us and hope he can help convince Luis to stay. You can see the confidence in his play which is exactly what the team needs - hopefully Borini will get a chance and it'll rub off on him.

Henderson again put in a good display as did Downing - I see Carrol scored a MOTM winner too - who signed these world class players??

I think Sturridge has been bought as a replacement for Suarez myself, bit like when Aldridge was brought in about February to replace Rush who was going that summer, the key to it is how much money of the Suarez fee Rodgers or whoever the manager might be will FSG free for the replacement, I personaly would'nt mind seeing a Beardsley type player to link up with Sturridge rather than a centre forweard big man type...

Doing the donkey work in a midfield that controlled the game for the most part. It will take him a while to get fully up to speed but a good game from Lucas today.
