Yep, a bit lucky that City was not awarded a freekick following Agger's foul but there was still a lot to do for us to score.

That performance was the best I've seen from LFC since 2009, and the football we played was as good as I've witnessed for 25 years.

If that is what Rodgers is going to bring us in the future, bring it on.

Completely and utterly dominated the champions on the their own pitch. Absolute travesty not to win.

Pretty much matched the champions all afternoon. Still need to get the defense sorted and Reina has to be on his last legs by now. Too many mistakes from a supposedly top keeper.

Funny, it didn't take many minutes on the pitch for Skrtel to get involved in a total defensive cöck up together with Reina.

Surely we have to start the hunt for a replacement for Pepe now! eek
