Its not that we dont get bargains , we just dont give them a chance. look at Assaidi , he is as good as most of the wingers out there, he can even play as a striker or a playmaker , but 12mil Borini gets more games than him. when you spend 12 million on a player he is always going to play more games than somebody costing 2 or 3 million, its just football politics, that's why the other season Martin Kelly was hooked as soon as Johnson was fit even though he was playing outstanding at the time, Johnson cost 20 million pound while Kelly cost nothing... -1 A bit too much dont you think? i dont think it is.

Agreed.
I'm whining over all the bad ones we do have got over the years, for amounts of money others haven't been forced to spend for at least twice the quality.

The onlyreason i started this thread is because we were linked with for so long and non of our managers even tried to bid for him. Think we can do with some of these quality strong black players.

what are you talking about, when Kelly was playing so well at right back about 2 seasons ago Johnson was stinking and was always injured, I admit he has improved alot since then but at the time no way should Kelly of made way for him, as for best Right back in the Prem its a poor standarsd of quality if Johnson is the best, I think Johnson is decent on his day at most and is woeful at times defending...
