http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=731115&sec=england&cc=3888i truly dont think we should rush Gerrard back, rushing injured players already has been done so many times this season and it only lead to extended absences of the same players. Torres and Gerrard i believe were rushed back and played against Lyon at home, and they ended up being injured for a longer period of time. The wolves match isnt a fairly easy one, but i think without Stevie and Nando we´ve still got a good a chance to take 3 points, give Steve a couple more days of rest and if hes feeling good now, by the weekends match he should be alot better...

And not having his apparent bad attitude on the pitch would be good for the others too. They might start to play their own game and not worry about having to be as good as Stevie or worry about upsetting him if a pass goes astray.

get him as fit as possible for run in. if where there or there abouts with 10 or so games to go. stevie is the one who ll keep us going. but only if he is 100% fit. DONT RISK HIM.

He will play him if he is 90%, like he has done all season and Stevie will be half hearted for the entire time he is out there.

We need Stevie G for Everton, Arsenal and Man City in Feb. He should be brought on as a last resort or when we have sewn up the game for him to get some fitness.
But seriously, Gerrard has not been himself this season, both as a captain and a player.

I found this topic particulary interesting especially as most of you said rest gerrard instead of playing him at wolves. And if we fail to win everybody will be raising eyebrows at rafa and flaming him for not using gerrard. if they say hes ready then he must be, they wont risk him excerbating his injury. Hopefully its a win at wolves however is playing YNWA
