To be fair Stan. We had a stadium down here called Eden park hitch is similar to anfield that its kind of in a residential area. We used it as our flagship stadium for the rugby World Cup. They did this after coming to the conclusion that it wasn't a very smart option to build a new stadium, so they just revamped Eden Park and to be fair they did an excellent job. The views are good, the catering is much more accessible as well as the access to setting. All in all, as much as it would of been great to build that waterfront stadium they did end up doing a pretty bloody fantastic job.

I think what they need to do with anfield is make sure that they use I bit of that land around it to set up a pub/restaurant area to give people something to do. Give the area some type of life outside the stadium.

Issue as I see it with the owners: they have a rediculous policy around transfers, haven't done anything about stadium yet and it doesn't seem like BR has full control.

I will not say a bad word against them for the money they put up though. As long as it is 'within their policy', they are happy to put up the cash. So not as bad as T&G but could definately improve a bit smile

Let's face it, they don't have money to waste like Abramovich and the City Sheik. A new stadium would have put us in the same position as Arsenal or even worse. I don't think (haven't seen the accounts) they are forking out money to pay interest they took to buy the club like the Glazers, so I don't think we can ask them more except probably to sell the club to some Sheiks. What worries me though is their knowledge of football if ever they are making the decisions, i don't really know who is running the show. At Manure, it's clear that the Glazers are not running the show but Bacon face who is a genius in footballing terms.

Like I've always said you can't please everyone all the time I am someone who gives credit where credit is due. Some people only see the negative. If we all just wallowed in the negative we'd be slitting our wrists right left and centre.

Some fans are too one way, I'm not all for FSG but I'm not obsessed about something I can't control. I have the capability to be open minded and stop living in the past. Lets see where we finish. If we finished 4th which I don't see would those be credit to the owners. Probably not. It's like I said , you can't keep everyone happy.

Not a question f keeping everyone happy which is impossible anyway. The question is moores sold because he did nt have the money to take the club forward two owners later and as far as I can see we are no further on. No new ground just talk and of the cheap option at that and a cautious transfer policy. Partly moores sold to get his money out but had he been in charge we would problebly be no worse off

That can only be exiting. The first attacking Brazilian in our history is on the verge of signing and I for one will be exited to see how he fits in to our team.

I just think some of you are a little harsh on FSG. I'm not saying their great or good owners. You can never please everyone. But they are willing to accept they have made mistakes and are actually making investment in descent players at the moment. Not to mention geting rid of overpaid and overrated players.

Don't start going over the top. But I'd say it has been a descent January so far.

I don't judge over 4 weeks. I judge over their forthcoming 3 years as owners. I judge the outs and not just the ins. I judge the net and not the gross.

The squad remains thin. The manager continues to call for more experienced players, so too does the skipper and Luis Suarez.

Start showing signs of acceptance and it becomes acceptable.

They are yet to strengthen if you look at the outgoing players who haven't been replaced.

If you don't have strength and quality, you can kiss goodbye to the likes of Luis Suarez.

Praising FSG this window is as bad as calling for a manager to be sacked several months in to the job.

When you've been starved for long enough, a snack is a banquet.

When your expectations of a feast do not materialise you live in reality. That's where you lot are. I never expected FSG to spend big money as I always knew they did not have big money.

However that's only if you believe the drivel they spout out like they can compete for players. That is the one thing I don't like. We are not going to accept that, and i agree they talk too much. There not all bad. They aren't spending money they haven't got. You wouldn't go and get a loan for a Ferrari when you couldn't manage the repayments would you.

So I'm not allowed to have my own opinion now dunk? In reference to me starting a bad thread. Because you disagree with me? Ok. Sure.

This is open to question as the plans haven't been finalised yet. Why don't you just wait and see ay? Prime example of negative before anythings happened
