Took a rath of criticism from you lot reacenty foe saying that FSG do have positive sides in their ownership. Yea they chat some [oops] and they let us down in January but they have delivered with sturridge and now coutinho. That will be 20 million of investment in good fast and skilful forwards. That can only be exiting. The first attacking Brazilian in our history is on the verge of signing and I for one will be exited to see how he fits in to our team.

I just think some of you are a little harsh on FSG. I'm not saying their great or good owners. You can never please everyone. But they are willing to accept they have made mistakes and are actually making investment in descent players at the moment. Not to mention geting rid of overpaid and overrated players.

Don't start going over the top. But I'd say it has been a descent January so far.

You coud argue they have to send some money on the team in order to protect their investment not in order to be generous to us. It's right they are careful and not waste as in the kenny era. But what matters is the big stuff investment in the clubs infrastructure that's been neglected for 30 years. I see no sign of that yet.

They just announced the plans for the redeveloping anfeild so when or if that happens it will be good. Especially as i wasn't keen on moving stadium myself.

January is a bad time to buy players and yea we did need players but once they have delivered surely they deserve an acknowledgement instead of just criticising when things don't go our way. I think they are doing things the right way in terms of players at the moment.

Sorry but how many players have gone out and come in? The squad remains thin. They have a LOT more to do.

Yet the club was sold to them on the understanding they'd build a new stadium.

I agree they do. I agree that we are miles behind where we could be if we had heavy investors as owners but that's not reality. They ARE trying to some extent. I'm not defending them and as I said at the top not declaring then great owners but I do think they have good intentions and have made some better choices post kenny dalflish in terms if buying and selling players.

I always remember them saying they'd not be against a new stadium and or redeveloping anfeild. As i remember they had numerous meetings with the fans and different groups of supporters as to what they'd like. I never wanted a new stadium as long as we could compete with the top teams in redeveloping anfeild. Eg a 65,000 sweater stadium would out do everyone except man utd.

We need a new stadium redevelop anfield is the sticking plaster solution and in any event where is it? It will just be extended out for years. Spending on the team in net terms has been spendthrift.

Sorry cant get excited club and fans are being short changed.
