Woke up this morning needing toast. But then started to have a real worry about the Oldham game I have a bad feeling about it not sure why this could be a real slip up and not just the ice outside the ground either.

rodgers said he's taking a strong squad. so i'd expect a win. i think we'll concede but score 3/4. no problem

I'm not really bothered about the FA cup at the moment. Even if we get to the final or win it, it's not going to make a blind bit of difference (which is a crying shame when I consider how important the FA cup was when I was younger). So though I think we'll win tomorrow, I wouldn't really care if we went out. Improving our league form is all the matters at present and a good run in the Europa/FA cups is just a distraction/bonus.

certainly a tough game but if liverpool take it serious enough should be no problem i think the worst that will happen is a reply .

if he fields a weak team then theres a chance we can get beat, a real chance, our players wont fancy playing on a frozen pitch anyway...

Didn't we beat them 5 - 1 in their place last season? No worries and a 2 or 3 nil win for the reds. Easy as abc.

Be happy with a nice clean 2-0 Stan with no injuries. It's a tricky one because even a full second string should win comfortably and who we really should be putting out (looking at the spacing and opposition in our next few games) but in the cup and conditions we could make a meal of it.

I never take cop games for granted, yet I'd be surprised if we got beat. I do expect a number of our first team players to be saved for the upcoming Arsenal and City match's so a slip up is always possible, but can't say I'm worried. The gap in quality, evewith 2nd choice players is going to see us through I think.
