McLoughin is very good, Likes to get forward ALOT!

Not sure BR will want to breed in any more talent this year.

This squad needs to stay together as much as possible. imo

If you go on the official site these pics of McLoughin training with the first so he might get a game.

Good player by the way. Got a cap for Northern Ireland as well

Agreed there, but we DO have injuries, so BR might not have a choice but to throw someone new into the mix - at least as a sub!

Mclaughlin is the business, very quick and loves taking players on and most importantly can read the game very well.

Far far better than flannagan anyway

never rated flannagan. all heart but no real talent apart from crunching tackles ( red card waiting to happen )

McLaughlin looked good preseason and is excellent at u21 level. Was superb against inter in the next gen. I'd like to see wisdom at centre back next season probably 3rd choice assuming carra retires. Then mcLaughlin can be backup for Johnson. Kelly can either leave because he's so injury prone or be back up at centre back and right back.

For tomorrow though I expect to see wisdom, carra, skrtel,Robinson.

why the hell would you want kelly to leave. his class. yes his injury prone but so was gerrard and giggs. i think if we were to play him CB he wouldnt be injured as much. kelly has all the attributes to be one on the best defenders in the league

I actually agree he is an excellent defender and about 18 months ago I preferred him playing right back to Johnson as he is a better defender. However he's no good injured three quarters of the time. I'd like to see him playing centre back rather than right back might give him more chance to prove his fitness.

Ideally I'd like to see us sell skrtel in the summer and sign a top centre back to partner agger with wisdom, Kelly and possibly sama as backup (I think Coates will leave as he is not getting games).
