He's [oops], bad attitude and will be the worst transfer possible and the end of Rodgers. Who was it who said that (or words to that effect)?
Great start for the lad. Looks to want to score goals and is getting into positions that others hasn't been all season. Lets hope it continues and we can have a good finish and maybe beat a top ten side!

he's impressed me. I always liked the look of him before, technically speaking but was very very unsure of his attitude, and at times finishing. Whether itll turn out to have two strikers thats a flighty but with erratic finishing or a more conventional creator and finisher a la rushie kk, we will see.
Being older the former worries me a bit, but lets just see...might be a better move overall due to movement and creativity. If this set up is to work fully, we need more other players to score goals from midfield and a sneijder type player to help out.
We also forget that we havent in any way looked at replacing sg!...so 2 players needed soonish

How is EMP feeling about Sturridge's start? Where are the other dissenters now? Yes, only 3 games - very early days, but a great start from him, and even goals aside, he looks very good and seems to have clicked into the team straight away, especially with Suarez. Great movement from him up front. A pleasure to see a striker who understands the offside rule too!

+1 KP. If his form continues, he may turn out to be England's choice second striker.

Yeah i agree Shaggy he just needs 10 - 15 games and more under his belt. He proved that at Bolton and chipped in with a couple when played at Chelsea and maybe with City cant remember, but i think he can get goals.
I'm yet to see this attitude everyone was talking about but i doubt it would have ever been an issue at Chelsea had he been playing.
And especially when he was second choice to Torres who set the record of something like 22 hours of footballwithout a goal, so far as does everyone i'm really taking a liking to Sturridge and i'm hoping that the current form continues, i'd really love to add 1 more new face to the squad this month and have a real go in the second half of the season and see is BR only talking the talk or are we really gonna look a good side next season.

daniel has got off to a brilliant start to his liverpool career matching the great ray kennedy's record , but one thing he is doing is looking like a striker , playing off the shoulder of defenders , following stuff in and being in the six yard box looking for chances .

I still think that dummy was the most encouraging thing I've seen of him. Understanding with Suarez is key. The only thing that concerned me about him was the rumors of his selfish attitude, but that showed selflessness and awareness.

I think all strikers need to be a bit selfish. He doesn't look selfish all over the pitch as the dummy showed but when he's got the ball in the box, he will more times than not look to shoot. He had a chance to roll Johnson in the other day but took on the shot himself. It was the wrong option at the time but shows a hunger to get goals and he will score more than his fair share doing it that way
