So far I am reasonably happy not delighted but I feel slow but steady progress. Things I like are he seems to be getting the best out of some players like Henderson and has shaken up Enrique and downing. He also seems to know what he wants like not wanting Carroll and quickly moving shahin on. He also can read a game and change tactics as we have seen a few times. He has made mistakes though but to be fair that was always going to happen its a big job for him. One thing I wish though is he would relax more in press interviews and stop speaking like a robot.

Overall I am comfortable

Positives
- we are playing good football
- he has shaken up some of the deadwood and improved them
- brought through several academy players and not afraid to play the youth
- shifted several of the highest earners who were not first teamers
- tied down several players with long term contracts -(contracts are meaningless I know in general but we will not be screwed like Arsenal at least)
- changes tactics early in a game as needed
- signs of improvement throughout the season

Negatives
- overspent on Allen and Borini
- hasn't beaten a top 10 team
- poor initial results in the league

I always thought with Rodgers it would be steady progress but its a balance between giving time and the high expectations of the club he s on the right side of the line at the moment just about I feel he cannot afford too many negatives.

improved deadwood is a fairpoint however im not sure how much of that is down to brendan. They have to have had a look in the mirror themselves. Downing and the hendmiester. The use of tactics has been good at times especially when things arent working. Mourinhoesc at times. eg. suso 20 min gone.

Id like to say we have made slow progress and hitting a good patch at the right time now. But time will tell. Would be good to put a run together. A long one. I have heard rodgers speak about 70 goals numerous times and having done my research hes right. If we get near there we will be there or there abouts come May.

I think defensively we havent been as strong. Set peices and individual errors costing us big points. Wether we miss carra in them situations or not im not sure. He is the best organiser ive seen in those situations. I iwsh we looked solid at the back but at times teams have sliced through us like butter. Especially when we didnt ave attacking options. you have to be more tight at the back.

He should barring a complete collapse surpass last years points total. The football is coming together and although we haven't beaten a top 10 team, we have in the last couple of meetings with lower placed teams, looked a class above them. This was always a problem under Benitez where we could beat the big guns but drop points at the likes of Norwich. Consistently beating 10 teams over a season would give us the guts of 50-60 points to work with and build from that

am quite happy with him so far. i just wish he would let ossama play and would free up sterling to run at players. i have a feeling BR has told sterling to curve his desire to take on players at every opportunity. he used to ran at players and scare them but know just goes for a simple pass 90% of the time.

and stop talking too much. i like a bit of info but he goes on and on and contradicts him self

By my reckoning, we should be contenders for 1st place in 2 years. Life is sweet at the 'mo BUT we have have two HUGE ganes coming up and if we can get 4 points I'll be a happy chappy.
