I really think you've just misinterpreted what Flames was saying. He never said that if Liverpool lose this game then Rodgers should be out. What he said was that if Liverpool get a win against there oldest rivals against the odds, then it might go along way to proving to the Rodgers doubters that he can do a decent job. he never once said that defeat would prove Rodger was incapable.
