So it has already begun, several internet sites are reporting that despite Suarez signing a new 100k a week deal recently, his agent is already pathing the way to potential moves should Liverpool 'not finish top 4'. I think in terms of those reporting it, goal.com etc, we can safely say they have 0 insider knowledge and are just blowing smoke out of their ass as per. But they will have written these articles based on the fact that it's very obviously a real possibility, and depending on what school of thought you're from, probably a likely prospect.

So what do people think, Suarez to go unless we are really challenging for top 4 come may?

If we compete with the top 4 teams setting our points at zero now and show that we would be competing next year for the top 4, I reckon he would stay one more season unless Barca or Madrid come in.

we gave him new contract in the summer I reckon to protect both parties min release fee should we finish outside top 4 say around 35million . We are so far behind I am reserved to losing him next summer but I think it depends who comes in for him I hope it isn't Barca I hate them they try and nick everybody for naff all and [oops] off the club and player on the way.

He would be mad to stay with Liverpool frankly unless we got top four this may.

Hate to say it but he's too good to stay. We're miles away from where we need to be and with the owners refusing to invest any worthwhile money, we will be for a good while yet.

Would love him to stay for years to come but common sense says he'll be off sooner rather than later.

I don't think he'll leave this summer. I think he'll give it one more season to see if the owners/BR have what it takes.

As bad an opinion as most seem to have on ALL footballers, there's always the chance he's loving his football, gets on well with teammates, wants to repay the backing the club gave him and doesn't mind the 100k a week he's now earning. Maybe he doesn't just want to join Barca and have titles handed to him?
He's still young so maybe feels he can spend another year here and see where we go.

I think it's all down to FSG this window and summer. I assume no more signings this window apart from Ince IF Blackpool back down.
If we see a similar summer window to the last 2, we won't improve any further and he'll be off Summer 2014.

Of course, there's always the question of whether Barca or Madrid have £40m to spend and a place in their first team.

Think he's gone in the Summer myself, his age the next contract he signs will be taking him into his prime between 26 and 30 so if he wants to be world class and win the games biggest honours he needs to make the jump. I think he will go to either City, Madrid, Chelsea, Barca, United, Juve, PSG, Athletico to replace Falcao or Juventus.

I think he's bound to go to RM in the summer... Aren't they due for another presidential election the summer?

RM will get Bale and Suarez to offset the loss of Mourinho and potentially Ronaldo..

RM always like the rougher / edgy players and Suarez is that.

I hope he stays for another season minimum but I can see him going if we don't get 4th which is very likely and also the press keep hounding him

Let's just enjoy the talent while he's here and hope that he finishes this season top scorer in the EPL.
