you're certainly more arrogant than the majority though especially as you seem to assume that only you can see what a player is and isn't doing.
No one has said that he is top quality but he has certainly improved and maintained that form for the last number of matches, surprisingly as the attacking midfielder as well. Downing has also improved in recent matches and the players are becoming more instinctive in their movement and passing of the ball and finding the space between the defence and midfield. spot on. every top team has a similar type of player, in that I mean a high price tag for what appears to be not such a dynamic position. UTD have Anderson who they 18mil for, he is older than Hendo and still has not forged his way into the team. Chelsea have Mikel, 12mil for an 18yr old, not really that great to be honest and certainly lacks the ability to push forward. he is 22 now. Also have 19mil Phil Jones, who looks ok but certainly not looked a world beater, thoughts are he could be very good in 2/3 yrs time City have Milner(24) who they paid 23mil for, a good professional and has done ok, lots of energy but not really top drawer. They also have Rodwell (20), looked good as teenager and Everton did well to get 12mil for him, unlikely to become a top player anytime soon. Liverpool have Henderson 16mil who is starting to look the real deal and has done for some time now. Is he dynamic or gerrard like probably not but is an equal if not better tan any of the players mentioned above. he is the best player at Englands u21 level and therefore should be given some credit. my point is that all the top teams have such central midfield players who are in their early twenties and their clubs have paid big money. So far he stands out as the most likely to succeed

Henderson plays slightly better than p!ss poor for 2 or 3 weeks and that's enough to make you forget about the previous 18 months and label him as 'the real deal'??? Quite possibly the biggest knee jerk post of all time. Your comparison regarding other teams that have an expensive, young midfielder is completely irrelevant. What was your point? Are you saying that henderson is good because mikel and anderson are rubbish? You'll have to explain that one to me...

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Credit where it's due, Henderson is now playing more like a conference player than a pub player.

I think people's first impressions make a big difference to people judgements but when it's a young foreign player that we have paid reasonable money for people should be a bit more patient. I want him to do well and he looks like he's got the right attitude to do that
Read between my lines.

Your unwillingness to say a single good word about Henderson is embarrassing and damages your credibility. That's not meant as an insult, I just want to let you know, because you seem like the only person who doesn't realise that. I don't understand people on here who have agendas against players/managers. On here from various people, there are agendas against; Rodgers, Rafa, Kenny, Suarez and Henderson mainly. These people are so blind in their hatred/dislike of the manager/player, that it warps their judgement completely - a fact that they live in a constant state of denial about.
