In the calendar year of 2012, other than Suarez or Gerrard, no current LFC midfielder or forward has scored more than 1 goal in the EPL...
Something to fix in 2013 certainly...

Shelvey scored in May 2012 against Chelski and also against West Ham last month, although I think most people believe that wasn't his goal - christ knows how he got it awarded to him.
Being picky aside, that is a damning stat indeed. Definately needs fixing as can't rely on Gerrard and Suarez constantly...

Being picky aside, that is a damning stat indeed. Definately needs fixing as can't rely on Gerrard and Suarez constantly... Ooooh, you're dead right about that actually - I heard the other day it was awarded to him - it was never his goal... very strange decision!

Carroll had, aswell as bellamy maxi and adam. We just sold the players, this stat is more geared toward this season and with the shelvey thing it is three players. Not that damning IMO.

Still waiting for Allen to score and I don't think borini scored in the prem when was fit. Sterling needs to add that to his game and downing... Well never mind

Kuyt, Carroll, Maxi & Bellamy all had two each. Yeah, I would say it's even damning with them included. The point is that we don't currently have players in our squad who are scoring us goals - hence our massive shortage.

The point being that the goals aren't spread around the team enough. We're relying too heavily on Suarez - and to a lesser degree, Gerrard - for goals.
