Over the past 2-3 weeks we all know daniel sturridge has become all but a liverpool player. I think the lad is a good addition, not the finished article by any strength of imagination, but what 23 year old is. Especially when he's had lack of playing time.

I think he has something we have not got in abundance. Pace strength skill and an eye for a goal. He's got a little arrogance about him which you need to play at a top club. He won't go hiding like some lfc players. I've heard some people wishing him to fail or saying he's pony before he's even kicked a ball in a red shirt. Probably the same fools making comments about shelvey. Get behind him and judge him on his performances for us. I know I'd rather him sturridge than not have him. It adds up for me so get behind him and let's see what he can do with a run In A first team.

His goal scoring rate is about 1 in 3... nothing to shout about to be fair.

Would have rather we went for Walcott but I'll support the lad unless he turns out like Sahin and is a complete waste of money.

the upside is that he has very little expectation surrounding his arrival so the pressure is off, naything remotely positive he does will be sung about, god knows enough of that goes on already these days.

Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria
He came from Barca, to bring us Joy
He's five foot seven, he's football heaven
please don't take my Luis away.

Is it official yet?

Should be a good signing. We need numbers especially up front. When he's been given a run of games he's been ok also do wouldn't worry too much about his record do far as its always been as a bit part player. He's not the marquee signing we all want but let's give him a chance and support him.

Inevitably predictable from certain people. We will see. I do actually expect him to be in the squad for tomorrow. Anyone got any idea what number hell have. I know 9 is available. he normaly wears 23 but carra has it. and 10 will be available once joe is gone. I'd have left him in London the other night.

Pretty sure the paperwork needs to have been completed 24 hours prior to being able to play...

Number 17 according to Becca on Twitter, She's normally right with these sorts of things...

I just heard that Ince's deal at Blackpool ends this season? Is that true?
