From what Ive seen Rafa is a top bloke and anyone who was at that memorial service that day could see how genuine his tears were and i think as he sat in the Kop he really felt what we all felt that particular day emotion, i felt he cried partly because he realised just how much he's missing the club,being there in Anfield itself. Likewise... And of course I like to have a bit of a laugh with faz, but in many instances - this occasion especially - it was a genuine thread. I actually expected faz to give credit where it was due in this case, tbh. The other guy hasn't posted yet, but I wouldn't expect much from him, but I expected more from faz. By the sounds of it, you'd be in agreement with him yourself.

Good thread and respect to rafa. The fact that others have done more for Hillsborough is neither here nor there Rafa stood by us others did more in the fight so what? that does nor lessen what rafa did. Its not a competition with league tables Rafa is a spanish manager who has took merseyside to his heart.

Massive, massive respect from me for that - from the human aspect.

stanley Benitez does'nt do things other than for his own gains, the donations was probably ofset against his tax for that year. If he was such a nice feller and above board like some claim why did'nt he donate his obscene pay off of about 6 million quid to one of the causes you say he cares about so much, he had a cheek taking that pay off in the first place considering the damage and state he left the Club in, all because he took his eye of the ball and got more involved with the personal battling with Hicks and Gillette than what was best for the football club...
