so it looks like he will be signing for us , but what do people think of him personally i dont think hes anything special is he really worth the 12 mill . just wondered if anyone rated him and who would you say he is like with his attacking and scoring .

I think we'll look back and wonder why we paid 12m for him. He's very much like a Borini signing. If he can't cut it at chavs, I wonder why he is good enough for us. It was the same with Borini.

Hmmm.
A mathematically put comparison: 6 x Michu = 6 x £ 2M = £ 12M = Sturridge.
Extremely nice and shrewd economical business made by LFC - as usual.
Hope we at least get some good football out of him, as opposed to the likes of Borini!

Christmas may have come early for Chelsea. £12m for someone they want to get rid of and know one else seems to want. If he's only got a year left £6m would've been appropriate. But hey, we are LFC and we like giving money away.

So he's doomed to fail before he's even signed officially. Can we not give him s [oops] chance?
The Michu comparison is stupid. No one knew who he was and had we been linked with him we would all have been livid about it. He's doing well but once defences get used to him, then we'll see how good he is.
Sturridge isn't the marquee signing that we all wanted. But he will improve us as he better than what we currently have up top apart from Suarez. Lets get behind him and give him a chance.

Could be a dangerous bit of business for BR.
Hes been scouting stikers since the horror of the last trade window. With all that time and effort to choose Sturridge as his main target would suggest that he thinks he ll come in and start doing a job from game one.
So if that doesnt happen Im sure supporters will start to question if BR and our scouting team really have an eye for talent. Or if we are aimlessly buying random players just hoping for success...
Hopefully he has a back up plan. Perhaps another striker on loan with an option to buy...
All i want for xmas is FSG to help us get the right players and secure 4th spot.... Surely thats not too much to ask and keep in mind the fat fellow delivering prezzies is an LFC supporter..he always wears his red suit ;P

sturridge is a decent player the only thing that does worry me is his attitude and desire i really hope i am wrong about him .
