I think Spurs are a more attractive proposition than us now stanley, they can more than match us money wise, maybe not so much fan wise at the moment even tho our fanbase is shrinking due to lack of success but they can offer a better team and London is a big pull for players...

liverpools turnover £186m spurs £111m there is no way they are remotely our size. their team is better at the moment granted but that can change quickly. london is bigger and more prosperous than liverpool but has more clubs to share. liverpool is the uk's fastest growing city with the largest development in the eu the 50 billion waterfront development which will make liverpool the key port in the uk over the next 30 years.

Actually our fan base is growing....
dont think so, the modern fan is attracted by success, just take a look at the fan base Chelsea have aquired since Roman took over and they started winning leagues and European Cups, City are growing now. Unfortunately for us we have not won the league in nearly a quarter of a century and won just one European Cup in nearly 30 years, you cant feed a fan base on such paltry scraps and expect it to grow or stay loyal...

it will never rival London tho stanley no matter how much it grows and as for the turnover what goods that if Spurs always outspend us by bringing in better quality players, how does it benefit the team if its just sitting in John Henry's ar*e pocket...

i agree profits are no good if john henry starves the club but in a way thats not the point you said they were bigger. As for london its not really a football city historically the north west has always matched it. liverpool are well placed to become a great club with the development of the liverpool economy but that depends on fsg and here i agree with you they wont invest and in that regard yes we could be finished. but the opportunity is there
