Most football fans can see that we're not playing any better than we did under dalglish. Have you seen us 'defend'?? Have you seen us try and put the ball in the net?? You might be impressed with 600 passes sideways or backwards but I'm not, and I don't think it's a sign that we are moving forward. Neither is our league position. Each to his own though.

Why should players need time to adapt to a new club? Most of BR's signings are english and know the league, or they already knew Brendan and had worked with him before. Please stop making excuses!!

Don't you? Or like some other people on here, do you think that it doesn't matter who our manager is as 'time & pateince' will bring us success?

how many games did he have to make that improvement from bottom to mid table?

but haven't you just told us to stop considering other factors and circumstances and just judge the manager on a "live basis".

of course the "different circumstances" don't satisfy your argument so you just disregard it.

No I believe in letting a manager build his own squad over a period of time, a tried and tested method but you obviously prefer the Chelsea method were you think we have an endless pot if money, it is a sad reflection on some supporters.

seriously liverpool could have a new manager every 6 or 7 months for years and years , similar to manchester city in the 80's and 90's no stability what so ever and the club going into further decline but if thats what the masses want .

So in just 5 or 6 months he improved their league position massively. Like I said, that's what good managers do.
