he was not a top prospect - he was stuck at ajax coz everyone that saw him decided against buying him ...... ajax had been shopping him round for years and kept telling everyone he was a great prospect merely to get interest ..... they couldn't believe their luck when we offered so much money we could have spent elsewhere on a proven player or atleast could have saved to buy our targets in spain....
