I'm sorry, Even though my own Country is on a roll on the international front. I would have loved another league game this weekend. Does anyone think this break will stop the scums hick up and our wonderful form??. I don't but i always worry about injuries on these breaks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's 16 of our first team squad are on international duty for 2 games over the next week.
Absolutely ridiculous, especially at such a critical time of the Premier season.

Stuff the internationals, and stuff the world cup.
mad

What's your country Highwayman?

i'm hoping several of the squad pick up 'slight niggles' in the coming week, you know the kind that keep you out for Mingland games but are fine by the time proper football starts again.

The only saving grace is that the Scum will lose alot of players too.

I don't usually hope for injuries (to opposition players) but we are in different circumstances now! grin

Club before country for me :-)

I am happy to follow England once every few months as long as it doesn't effect my daily affections :-)

The friendly's are what p1ss me off. Just because there is an international break doesn't mean they always need to play.

these international games are a pain and have stopped our momentum (hopefully only temporarily) but they will not help the mancs either... after two defeats on the trot they will have to try and regroup when they finally get back together - will this time apart be good or bad for moral?
The Reds will come back still holding that feel good feeling and confidence - the mancs won't... difficult to say how it go.

We can only worry about our next game and try keep the momentum going - Fulham will be tough but if we have a full strength side and try and play as we have been then it's another 3 pointer!

Yeah but hopefully the Manc negativity doesn't rub off on Stevie in camp.

I don't think the international break will affect us at all. Most of our players have had great results at international level so they should come back full of confidence. The only who ma be affected is Masch because they got smashed 6-1 by Bolivia but I also doubt whether Masch will be fit to play after playing at altitude for the Argies!! Let's continue on our merry way to the title YNWA GO LFC!!
