Fickle football fans, downing was useless and henderson didnt mess up the chance for the goal, bravo, but because it was a one nil away win the dork brothers henderson and downing turn into messi and ronaldo! who did that gaffe at the end that let in de natale to nearly put us out on 93mins anyway;
overall skyrtl was top player today Henderson, at least according to Fowler!

zenit , bate borisov , dynamo kiev, or ajax are the CL teams liverpool could draw plus the rest of the EL teams who finished second apart from newcastle or spurs if spurs get through

Gotta be pleased with that. An away win against Italian opposition who we seldom do well against.Hendo and downing both played alrite and the injury to Sahin so early on was just unfortunate. Looking forward to a glamor tie in the next round

I thought Downing was awful, I just can't see him ever making it at Liverpool.

I thought Downing was awful, I just can't see him ever making it at Liverpool. Naw thought he was alrite tonight, played some good passes. However hes a long way of making it I am just giving credit where credit is due

liverpool won away in europe got through won the group played well just rejoice reds come on well said fazakerley, just made up to be through, we should be alrite for tickets if we ever did make it to the final as there seems to of been loads of people not interested in this competition so good news for us in that department, anyway lets just enjoy being through... correct , in a season of up's and down's this is a very big up !! this for me is what I try to put over to some fans, tonite was a really good, positive thing for us as a Club, these types of nites and results in all honesty is all we are ever going to be getting now as there is no more Champions League, this is why we have to embrace them and enjoy it, if we can get to a final and give fans a day out then that would be fantastic. I think although top four maybe important for the football club moneywise, for us as fans we are more interested in a trophy or a day out for a final, its what we pay our hard earned cash out for at the end of the day and something we can look back on and sing songs about, still waiting to hear a song about finishing fourth or Qualifying for the Champions League, might day one day tho...
