If I can tie suarez to the club for life, I won't mind making him captain.

I'd love it to be Lucas, he has been through quite a lot with the club and it might just highlight how silly it is to boo players.

Put it another way if you were three down in a cup final who would you prefer out of Agger and lucas to 'rally the troops' ?

cant look beyond lucas or agger but i think lucas is the man

havent voted for any cause SG will be captain until the end of next season and then shelvey in my opinion if he keeps progressing will take it over

Maybe go for the 'other' option then?

I don't know if I could see Shelvey being a Liverpool captain. But then, some would have said the same about Lucas a few years ago.

I went for Lucas with Agger a very close second,just casting my mind back to when Lucas was a regular did he do as much shouting as Agger does,cant quite remember now?

Think Suarez should be a dark horse as I like the idea of captains being leaders who can score goals and single handedly win games when you need them to FA Cup Final 2006 I will say no more. I went for Agger though as he is in the John Terry mould and does it for Denmark. However I dont see Stevie going anywhere any time soon
