He's now into double figures again and it's not even half the season gone. Last season he was one of the top performers too. He has proven that he's not crocked also.
He has a 7.5m get out clause and no top 6 club actually seriously considered activating it in summer. Why is that?
I would very much rather we had spent 7.5m on him rather than 10m on Borini.
Prob the fact his knee injury could pop at any given moment.
Look at that stiker Chelsea bought in the 90's the italian one after Vialli can't remember his name but they payed around £15 million for him for what 1 game?!
I would rather the £7.5 million if we even had it to go towards someone without any injury as they could provide 50 goals over a few seasons and not just 15 in one then be out the game for good.
With our purse strings being managed more tightly than my mum gave me pocket money as a child I think we need to save every penny we have and spend it wisely.
I think it was Casiraghi top top player would have been superb he tried coming back but broke down all the time . It is a sad fact that this is our level of player we are being linked with Michu looks a bargain
Ba and Boroni are 2 different type of players. Boroni is a workinghorse like Kuyt with better touch and technic. But the problems are his Knee! We can spend 7 mill om him but as it was said here before... His knee can be injured any given time.
When Liverpool and other clubs buys a player. The player are insured. this to cove loss from injures etc etc. When it comes to BA his medical condition is not worth the risk. Insurencecompanies would`nt insure him.
£7m isn't a huge amount to gamble though especially for a proven EPL striker. And lets not forget, any player can get injured in their first game dodgy knees or not.
