Riena 7 - Clean Sheet

Johnson 7 Did well down the right hand side. COuld have got a goal if he had his shooting boots on.

Skrtel - 7 Solid game

Agger - 8 Got the goal which won us the game

Enrique - 9 MOTM performance again for me, Tracked back and got forward deserved a goal for his efforts.

Lucas - 8 Bossed the midfield, Did very well for his comeback game

Allen 7 Looks better in a more forward position.

Gerrard 7 Better performance, Looks a different player when Lucas is the Anchor in midfield

Sterling - 7 Was a menace going forward and tracked back well. Could have done better with his passing choices.

Shelvey - 7 Nothing amazing but did well I suppose, Should have scored but hit the post.

Suarez - 8 Unlucky to hit the bar could have got a goal, His hand of GOD didnt exactly work out for him or us lol

Subs

Henderson - 7 Looks like his critique from BR has hit home and has played when for the last month or so.

Carra - N/A Only on for like 5 mins cant really judge although he did get booked.

Those who stood out IMO were:

Johnson 8 for me. Guy is starting to actually look real descent and playing to the quality his price tag suggested he would many moons ago. Quality cross for Agger.

Gerrard 4 Thought he had a shocker. Passes were way off, lost the ball a number of times where a better team would have given us some real trouble. If I recall Lucas saved him a couple of times at least. In fact he just looks totally out of sorts at present for me. He still doesn't look like he has adapted to the pace we are playing for large portions of the game.

Enrique 9 agreed, looks like he did the first few games after signing and the guy is definitely skilful.

Reina 8 Dare I say it he appears to have turned the corner, confidence appears to have returned and his reflexes/timing with it.

OP you've been very kind to the players, and in my opinion think we played much better than we did.

Johnson and Enrique were very good. Lucas was impressive for his first game back. Suarez his usual tricky but oft ineffective self has he doesn't have quality around him.

Everyone else was average. Allen I wouldn't give more than a 5.5

All I will say is, even though it was one of the less fancied teams in the league, we never took our foot off the gas for the whole 90 minutes..

I don't know if it appeared that way to anyone else, but we played the best part of the match like it was the last 10 minutes and we were one goal down... It's been a long, long time since I've seen a Liverpool squad proper plugging away for a second when we were one up...

GJ / LS / LE - hats off to these three in particular.

That might bee good business too if it happened. Lots of good goalies available atm I think.

henderson has played well over the last month or so , where u getting that from he did well wen he came on against wigan he was awful against spurs and did nothing against southampton , abismal player imo , most ppl think downing is our worst player i think its hendo and im not saying downing is good he is abismal 2 , just taught that was a funny comment about hendo
