Top of the league so far! grin

Im one for saying that BR needs time to get the squad where he wants it and it is obvious that this will take a few seasons, but he at least needs to maintain a respectable position in the table in the mean time.

Liverpool really do need to get some results in December (maybe 2 wins in a row? asking too much?). We are up against some very average teams.

Fixtures:

December
1 Dec, 15:00 Liverpool1 - 0Southampton Premier League
6 Dec, 18:00 Udinese v Liverpool Europa League
9 Dec, 16:00 West Ham United v Liverpool Premier League
15 Dec, 15:00 Liverpool v Aston Villa Premier League
22 Dec, 17:30 Liverpool v Fulham Premier League
26 Dec, 19:45 Stoke City v Liverpool Premier League
30 Dec, 16:00 Queens Park Rangers v Liverpool Premier League

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/liverpool/results/2012-2013/

Im expecting:
(W = Liverpool v Southampton)
L = Udinese v Liverpool
L = West Ham United v Liverpool
W = Liverpool v Aston Villa
W = Liverpool v Fulham
D = Stoke City v Liverpool
D = Queens Park Rangers v Liverpool (tough one to call between a win and draw. Old 'arry will probably have them back on track by the end of December)

BPL Games: 6
Win: 3
Draw: 2
Loss: 2
Points: 11

Realistic expectations I feel. What are everyone else's views on the December fixtures?

It is realistic but I think we play better away from home. We add too much pressure on the team when we don't score in the first few mins.
Everyone gets anxious and it filters down to the players.

5 winnable games in the league. I've given up trying to predict results but we need 14 points from the 6 games, 3 on the board already, if we still want to be in contention for 4th come January. Very important period.

Have you watched us this season?2 trips to London and Stoke will be hard,only the villa&Fulham games looks like some points.

Yes 11 points is what I think is realistic!

Spurs usually have a mare during this period

One thing BR definitely achieved is to drop fans expectations significantly, that can only play in his favour. Last year I would have said at least 15 pts, this year I would say happy if we get 12.

Kane, if you look at the predictions you'll see that they are factored in... im slightly missing your point mate. But overall, they are still extremely average teams! in form we should be walking over them, not thinking we might be able to walk away with some points.

Vish, nailed it.

Based on how the season has gone, and our team, and our lack of goals, 10 points would be good let alone 12.
