nevermind where he got the story from. i for one think macleish would be a good manager for us. i think he's done well and what i've seen of him on tv he comes across as honest,genuine and has character(rafa's always spouting off about this)
do we want another foreigner who has no passion for lfc,no understanding of english football and it's traditions and no idea of what liverpool fc is all about?
it's no coincidence that the best managers have been from scotland or the north. shanks,paisley,fergie and clough are prime examples. working class fellas who understand grass roots football and the fans on the terraces.
i want a manager with a passion for english football. who takes cups seriously and above all wants to give fans their money's worth.
shabnks and paisley were pretty much inexperienced when taking over at lfc. i'd be happy to give macleish a chance.
