u mean unlucky i take it? I find the approach to risky, we do better away than at home and we got mauled, the first half finished the game. Couldnt recover with our weak attack. I found this a very telling fixture, a narrow 3-2 defeat, isnt bad or narrow 2-1 but we were second best for most of the match; i dont think it was a narrow defeat, you may as well count the corners won to suggest a team has done well, its goals scored and conceded that counts and we arent scoring enought, relying on scraps to equalise against an AVB team is not progress Lol yeah, that's what I meant. Fixed now. I thought we were mauled for the first 15 minutes, but after that Spurs weren't very threatening apart from the odd chance here and there throughout the game.

its not the nature of the way the goals were scored its fact that there was acres of space in between midfield and defence, they could have had five, it took 50 minutes to come up with a reply I take it you class a goal as a 'reply'? You don't count torrent after torrent of attacks and forcing the opponents into goalline clearances as "a reply"? torrent after torrent? what drugs are you on? OMG i have never seen such 'untruths' since that guy from where was it Fazland went on a football forum. You need to sort it out mate if you think that was 'torrent after torrent' of attacks spurs sat back after the 2 goal lead (think AVB idiotic tactician in the EPL)

The header was goalbound. We had another attempt cleared off the line. That might have ended up in Walker's own net too

Does it matter who scored? If Lennon wasn't there to boot it off Bale Gerrard would have been credited with it. A win Saturday and were ok for now with Arsenal, nEverton and Newcastle all dropping points. If we dont win Saturday I will be very, very, very worried. As someone said start of December and only 3 wins this is worse than Roy.

Spurs didn't get out of their own half for the first 10 or 15 minutes of the second half alone. For most of the time between 15 minutes and half time we were pushing for a goal too. Maybe you were watching a different game mate?

As much as it pains me to say it, if we don't win that one, people WILL start asking some serious questions of BR - and I'm not just talking about people on message boards.

Yep agreed same sh!t different week we all knew we probably wouldn't get a result tonight but they still jump on the band wagon for the sake of complaining.

it does suggest there is a problem in attack or between between midfield and attack when considering that we dont score enough goals in general. When our only goal came from a hopeful headed cross into no mans land by gerrard , dunno what he was doing in the box he must have been lost
