The game was stopped and Shaktar were giving the ball back. If Shaktar had played on and scored it wouldn't have been bad because it is up to the ref to stop it but once it was stopped, it is an unwritten rule to give the ball back to the other team

I'm not sure what's wrong with this?
The Nordsjaelland player fakes being elbowed in the face in an attempt to get a Shakhtar player booked/sent off and Adriano punished them for it.
I didn't see the game last night but that's what I saw in that video, have I got something wrong? Happens almost every week in the league, I'm sure you've seen it as someone gets injured, the opposite team just kicks the ball back to the other team depending who kicked the ball out. The Shakter striker didn't care and just scored. Shameful act.

How come none of you see the 'shame' in clutching your face as if you've been elbowed to get another player booked/sent off? I'm telling you now, If I was a footballer and that happened, there's no way I'd give them the ball back. Fair enough if it's a legitimate injury but that guy pretending to be hurt is just as shameful in my opinion.

Theres shame in that too and theres no obligation on you to stop play but its very low to score a goal where the ball is being kicked back to the other team and they have in effect stopped playing

Perhaps it will teach players a lesson to stop faking injuries just to stop counter attacks or waste time. I bet that lad will think twice before faking an injury again! This whole thing about stopping play is intended for cases of serious injury, not for every little girl that goes to ground howling like they've been slayed with an axe, after barely any contact! Good on Luiz Adriano!

I can't believe people think there's nothing wrong with this. Scoring goals like this isn't the way to stop players faking injuries, I genuinely am shocked that both of you see nothing wrong with the goal

I agree, but Adriano himself is a "diver" and its just fair play to give the ball back.

I'm honestly shocked people are crying because Adrino scored a goal like that, why is no one crucifying the divers and cheats in the game but this all of a sudden is horrible? It's like saying cheating is ok if you do it like this, but don't cheat like that...silly!

People do crucify the divers and cheats when something they do results in a goal or a player sent off?
There was no penalty for either team as a result of the Nordsland player faking injury. They hardly deserve to have a goal scored against them?
