Suarez's infamous handball for Uruguay vs Ghana in South Africa marked him out as something of a troubled character but no one seemed to mind when we bought him. But he is exactly the type of player we have been crying out for, like Man Utd have in Rooney and Valencia - who are willing to have a go at defenders and knock them around, and with the ability to make them look stupid.

Too many of our forward players from the last few seasons - Robbie Keane, Crouch, Maxi - have been the same old honest, hard-working, old Division One types who have been too predictable and easy to defend against. I'd take Suarez (even with his slightly disturbing baggage) over that lot any day - it's the bit of devil inside him that makes him the player he is.

he is great at the moment , but he has had 4 bookings 3 for dissent one for that nasty challenge at goodison , and he is likely to do something to get banned sooner rather than later , it was only a few weeks ago the stoke game were he was diving all over the place , ok he seems to have curbed it for now which is brilliant but for how long , see the suarez now scoring doing his job is great brilliant but how long before the real suarez turns up ???? .

Craney for me was possibly the worst poster I've seen on here in terms of starting arguments and being childish and not actually entering into discussion rather than just bellowing out his opinion like it was fact.

I agree with you completely that it was a nasty challenge and deserving of a red card. Think his reputation makes people make more of it than it is though. Many players go over the ball like that, but yes it was a red card challenge.

In your opinion, people like you just dont like the truth, whats wrong with pointing out the negative parts absolutely nothing. There are people on here who simply dont like the truth and I am happy to point things out to them, Luis Suarez is a horrible, nasty piece of work, fact, he cheats, dives, kicks people on the sly and to most people he is a racist, this again is a fact, also at most importantly is that if he played for any other team other than us, all you people defending him would be calling him all the names under the sun making you all two faced and hypocritical and thats my friends is fact.

I may of had other names on here but there again am I the only one, I think not, since I have been back on I have towed the line and based my opinions purely on football related stuff, the amount of people now attacking my posts is disgusting when all I have done is talk about footballing topics, maybe these posts and the people posting need to be looked at, so what if I am a half glass empty type of person as regards our Club, I dont see much to be positive about and have'nt for a few years now, there's nothing wrong with that...

What about for the first 5 or 6 games when he was getting kicked around the place? The challenge Saturday if your talking about the same one I am could have gone either way, if he won the ball the Wigan player would have went studs first in to his foot - Simple as. Were all negative on here but you just take the biscuit, If you had a one armed child going to the special olympics to compete in the swimming finals, even though you knew he was going to finish dead last, would you tell him he sucks and shouldn't go or would you encourage him to try either win or do the absolutely best he can?? Thought so. JoeCool each and everyone of us here are hypocrits, liars, cynical, boring, predictable, negative and annoying at some point - But lately your just taken the micky and its beyond a joke its cringeworthy. Get your head out of the dirt and support your club like you'd want to be supported if you were apart of it. If not then plenty other teams out there who are gonna buy instant success, just because you've seen the good times doesn't mean we dont and certainly doesn't mean they wont come again.

And here was me thinking our fans are famous worldwide for the way we support our players. I merely stated an opinion not facts, if you have a reply to any part of my comment then fair enough but dont make yourself look an ass by posting something so childish the one time were actually having a heated, non abusive - non childish debate.
