On Walcott, He has shown himself to lack the football intelligence to play an interchanging front 3 role. Wrong choice if thats what you're look for.
On Torres, Rodgers has already said he has no intention of signing him. And Chelsea will not sell without buying 2 top strikers and I can see them buying at most 1 in january. Rodgers was asked about Torres the other day and he refused to rule it out and just smiled. Where have you seen him saying he has no intention of signing him? Got a link? I can see Chelsea going in for Falcao. Whether they get him or not is another matter. It'll take a massive bid. If they get him though, I can't see Torres staying. It's easy to forget that they have Marko Marin, who hasn't had a look in this season. We could have done with a signing like him! Chelsea are short on centre forwards though, as you've said, but regardless of how many come in, I'd be very surprised if they start February with both Torres and Sturridge still in their squad.

as much as i loved Torres when he played for us, we should not go back for him, like owen he left us a little in the lurch. im over him and wish him well elsewhere.
Definitely do not want Dan Sturridge, dont really see anything about him, he's a more Wigan type player.

To highlight the original thread title, here's a nice little stat: Besides Stevie and Suarez, no current Liverpool striker or midfielder has scored more than 2 PL goals for the club.

Linked to ex manc giuseppi Rossi this morning, and he's been out with a cruciate ligament damage !! Probably why he's linked with us, we only seem to buy expensive injured players!! Namely aqualani and Carroll.
Any thoughts ??

Linked to ex manc giuseppi Rossi this morning, and he's been out with a cruciate ligament damage !! Probably why he's linked with us, we only seem to buy expensive injured players!! Namely aqualani and Carroll.
Any thoughts ?? I would be so happy if we got Rossi, he is an incredible player.
