that isnt far fetched though if the 'rumours' about henderson being rated at a very low price til commoli came running with the sign 'liverpool are mugs' on his forehead and same for carrol, but agree with general gist of these messages that everyone knows already liverpool need a striker. Its evident from the squad names.
I actually think BR reads random statements written on pieces of paper so dont care what he says anymore to media

But everyone 'doesn't' already know how desperate we are. In this country they do because BR is always harping on about it - but why would a team in a foreign country know our situation? Clubs in other countries don't look outside their own to see what is happening in the market! They restrict themselves to what's happening in their own back yard!!

i think thats a fair assumption. for example, it's a fact that liverpool don't have a scouts anywhere outside of the uk. we, like any other club anywhere in europe would be bothered getting hung up on things like that

Its a very scary comment from Rodgers, sounds like he is saying we won't be signing anyone fellas so don't get your hopes up. Sad if true because we need to buy, our squad is thin.

You don't think chairmen etc do their homework? They would quite comfortably know that without much work at all. The world knows it, BR did nothing wrong.

The part in bold worries me, we shouldn't be looking for reinforcements to support the group we've got we need 1 or 2 reinforcements to come in and use the current group to support them, we need to sign at least 1 good quality starting striker.

I think so to. I find it hard to believe that were in for another disappointing transfer window though, if we are we could be in trouble. Our current squad in my opinion is good enough to keep in touch (10 points) with 4th until January. After that though were gonna need an injection of 1 or 2 fresh faces to liven things up.
