The dogs on the street know we need a striker Car,
BR wasn't exactly giving away a big secret.

FSG need to pull something out the bag, Otherwise upsetting the fans in 2 consecutive windows is not a wise move.

I say anything less than £20 million before sales and NOT including wages would be a fair investment.

Anything less and they should just admit they are not fit owners and should sell up!

FSG no pressure but you need to regain our trust after the fiasco which was the summer where we sold / got rid of like 12 players and only brought in 4!!!

They gave us an investment of roughly 20 mill in the summer, so presumely you want 40 million a season of investment? Not going to happen mate. Not going to happen at all.

LFC has an operating profit of £40 million a year!

FSG did not invest! The money came from LFC profit!

They cut costs last summer. If they don't spend ~£20 million they are not fit owners and should sell the club as they are not astute business men.

But everyone 'doesn't' already know how desperate we are. In this country they do because BR is always harping on about it - but why would a team in a foreign country know our situation?

by doing research maybe? cos clubs have scouts. cos they have multi-million pound assets for sale. i'm sure they have a general understanding who would wish to buy and sell

reasonable enough assumption that a club the size of schalke might have an inkling of what huntelaar, for example, is worth. i'd say they knew before BR said that he would like another striker.

or do you believe that the germans were valuing huntelaar at 6-8 million until they saw BR's comments and saidt "oh no wait, i see the liverpool manager is interested. lets charege them 11-13 million instead"?

bit far fetched maybe.
