Really don't understand why everyone is calling for LFC to bring Fernando Torres back!

He was poor in his last 2 seasons for us and he's been pretty poor at Chelsea for 2 seasons.

He's been out of form for nearly 4 years yet you expect the club to fork out £20m to bring him back here?

Torres didn't want LFC and LFC do not need Torres. it's never going to happen so get over it!

Yes, he was world class when he played for us but his best form seems like a million miles away from present day.

We all idolised him and he turned his back on us.

We'd all loved to see him play alongside suarez but we do not need a player who can't score to save his life. especially when we struggle to make our chances pay.

LFC do not need him and should never want him back!

i wouldnt take him back for 20m but for the right price i would love to see him in the red top. i think his movement is back and he will score goals. just got a feeling

The right price is around £ 2 M at the moment! If we can get him for that then I think we've got ourselves a perfect 3:rd choice striker!

We had his best years. His form has been poor for longer than it was good so what is the point? Time to move on. What is it with LFC fans and always looking to the past? Rafa, Torres, Xabi? come on, all ancient history. We need to move on if we are ever going to get back to the top of the pile.

I think when people think of bringing Torres back to Liverpool they're reminiscing of the striker that came to Liverpool and started banging in the goals, not the one that left sulking through the back door in extremely poor form.

I wouldn't want him back, it's time to move on.

definately faz, sentiment killed our once great club and it looks like that way of thinking is still evident with many fans on here, Torres is finished and people need to move on, dont blame him for wanting to move as he wanted to win things which in all fairness he has, we had the best out of him we should be thankful of that and we got paid an obscene amount of money, we ripped chelsea off good and proper over that deal in fact at least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he ripped people off.

He's off his best but he's still a damn good striker.

At chavs, his movement and technical abilities are still better than the other strikers there like Daniel Sturridge.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. I believe we'll be able to get the best out of him again.

I'm not exaggerating when I say 15 mill is the absolute most anyone should pay for him. Class may be permament, but you're only as good as you are currently playing. He's okay for chelsea, but not great, in fact not even good, just okay. You do not pay 20 million for an okay striker (you pay 35 million if you are dalglish). 10-15 mill and I'd take him, but why would he come to sit on our bench when most of you and most other Liverpool fans showed a complete and utter lack of class when he left? He could go back to athletico as part of the falcao deal most probably, if chelsea wanted to sell him.
