With Rafa getting 20mil plus the funds from the Keane deal and any players sold-we should have close to 35-40mil to spend on transfers.

We definitely need a right winger and a right back for cover plus another striker.Since Lennon has just signed a new contract with Spurs-Rafa will turn his attention to David Silva.

It depends on whether Leto will be given a work permit or not, and it also depends if we get a big offer for Babel.

We have a great partnership between Gerrard and Torres, and we should leave it as it is. We need a goal scoring attacking midfielder to play on the right, while an overlapping attacking right back would offer the width.

Kuyt will be a good backup player to fill in Gerrard role, or on the right of our midfield. Ngog should mature to be a good backup for Torres.

we might need a midfielder to compete with Alonso and Mascherano. Lucas is not vastly improving and we should replace him IF and ONLY IF we can find a better replacement.

First off all. Rafa will be prepairing for the English 5-6 rule. So it would be better to use funds and prepare now. As when it comes in you can guarentee English players will be more then they are now.

Johnson Covers the rightback

Lennon would be my first option followed by Silva for the Right wing. Purely because of the rule. To forign players meens we could lose them and risk losing money.

Barry is a massive player. He gives us three options. If Gerrard plays the Torres role. It gives us the option of having Barry in the middle. He can play on the left or at Left back.

If Agger happens to leave. I personally would replace him with Wheater. Keep in mind Hypia may retiree. So we could be short two centre halfs.

Voronin,Pennan certs to go. We could possibly risk losing Dossena if we gain Barry.

If it was up to me which it's not. I would buy another experienced foward. A loan Ngog out to a premier league team for a season.

Whats everyones thoughts on David Nugent? Not as a starting 11 player. As a off the bench player.

I think we might cash in on Nabil Elzhar, and Adam Hammill will take his place in our squad.

David Silva or Antonio Valencia will come in based on 'current' developments but as we know, things can change.

I agree Barry will give us various options...being the tactician Rafa is, he could use use Barry's versatility to good effect against tough opponents. It would also make us less predictable.

any news on Aguero? IMHO, he will be the 2nd best striker in the world in 2 years (after torres). He is small but he is real tough plus the Monster's his son's god father....

Valencia will give us speed on the wings but his goal ratio is not better than Kuyt. Silva will be expensive but he is a creative force...If he can have half a first season like Nasri, i will be happy

do we really need barry? a winger with pace and skill should be top priority. glen johnson would also be a good signing. if we got lennon and johnson i'd be happy.
