I think I read earlier that it was something like 80 odd goals in 60 games or so

Need minimum 2 players, I think walcott would be a good signing for the right money, i do think he would be around the 15M mark tho, and definitely a proven goal scorer some like huntelaar. but maybe the owners have one eye the a replacement for Gerrard i think we need one or two in the summer for his position.

I'd value him on that with a few years on his contract. With 6 months left, I wouldn't pay over half of that for him! I'd be very disappointed if he paid £10m for him. He's a good player, and still has a lot of potential at his young age, but he's not the finished article. Until he finds some consistency in his game, he'll never be worth that sort of money for me.

6-8 seems fair to me and something similar would apply for Huntelaar.

Ideal scenario for me is getting rid of Cole for free and selling Carroll and Henderson for a combined 23-25 mil. With that we buy Erikson for 17-20mil and get Walcott and Huntelaar for 12-14 mil with a net spend of somewhere around 8 or 9 mil and not too much of a wage increase but a massive increase in quality

you reckon we'll get him for 7M, NO CHANCE, wenger will be lynched!! 10M and we have a good deal, other teams will be willing to out bid us no problem. Everyone knows we are desperate to sign a coupe of attacking players, and they will take advantage just like we did with Torres. I think they bought him for 5M from southampton. we have put ourselves in this situation to try and cut costs, but in the end we will have to shell out more to get what we need. cutting corners never works.

They bought for him for 15m I think.

We don't have to bid for him if the price goes too high because there wouldn't be value and we would be better off waiting until the summer and see if we can get him then for nothing

Other teams like who? I was thinking about this yesterday...

Man Ure, Man City and Chelsea - can you see any of them chasing Walcott? I can't. Who does that leave? Spurs? Can't see him crossing North London to go to them, think he's too respectful for that. Who else does that leave - Newcastle, that's about it. He's a lifelong Liverpool fan. With this in mind, would he choose Newcastle over us? I doubt that.

The biggest question is whether he's gonna stay at Arsenal or not. If he's gonna leave, I think LFC will be the most likely destination by far.
