I hope he doesn't tell the Americans that his philosophy can only work with Messi in it... If they'll go out and buy him, then that's exactly what I hope he's telling them Well, if I am the owner and my manager tells me that we can improve (get to top 4) only if we buy Messi, I'll look for another manager who can get me top 4 without Messi, simple as.

A question for you all. Who would replace Rodgers if he was to be sacked now? Who would do better with this squad and limited budget?
I really am loosing faith with our supporters if this forum is anything to go by. It's getting more and more stupid every day!

He seems to have been given licence to dismantle the old team (even the new recriuits that cost a total £150m)... and start again almost from scratch (though not quite). In such a scenario, it's not necessary appropriate to expect immediate improvemnt in terms of a higher league finish than the previous season. Sometimes you need to go backwards first in order ro go forwrds.

I don't want to see BR go, I feel optimistic with him incharge so please dont take it as me calling for his head. But to answer your question of who would come in I think maybe Harry Redknapp or Rafa possibly?

Forums a bit slow today, added that to spice shizzle up! Disgraceful. Thou shalt not take Rafa's name in vain.
