Was it Hodgson who said 'judge me after 10 games'? We did. Well, we're at 11 games now and Hodgson has a superior record to rodgers despite less resources being spent on the team. When you consider that Hodgson was treated so disgracefully and then sacked, why are people being so accepting of BRs massively underwhelming results?
BR should thrive as the expectation on the club has never been so low....
Rafa was sacked when we finished 7th.....
Hodgson was sacked when we were in the bottom half at xmas....
Dalglish was sacked when we finished 8th....
...but Rodgers is doing well enough to warrant another year or 2 in some people's eyes even though his record is worse than any manager we've ever had.
Last week there were people on here saying that he should keep his job as long as we don't get relegated!!!!
lets be honest here did anyone at the start of the season with the squad weve got expect us to be challegne for 4th i for 1 didnt , the squad weve got is threadbare a lot of young players and by the way very exciting young players have come into the first team wisdom,suso and sterling a super young players who will benefit us hugely in the coming few seasons with a few more experienced players and the type of football were playin i think we"ll be ok he needs funds desperately in jan and the summer but we cant just keep sacking managers after 10 or 20 games i know the frustrations but weve got to stick with this guy now ask yourself with the players weve got is the football really that bad at the moment i dont think it is we defo need another stricker thou . I would ask why teams with lesser quality in their squads are doing better?blackpool were playing great football then went down,good bad or ugly we need points on the board and he is not doing it. Nothing against Rodgers but I think we have stepped down to his level rather then him stepping up and fsg need to wise up.

weve got a run of 9 or 10 games comin up now which are winable i know you may point to the points dropped against other so called beatable teams weve played but lets just see were we are and in jan its vital that we get 2 attacking players 1 of which needs to be an out and out striker, whats the alternative do we sack another manager 10-15 games into a season everyone new there would be no quick fix and so it has proved to be that way whoever we get will be working under the restrictions of FSG which at the moment isnt good.

Yeah this kind of talk takes me back to the dark days of Roy. The club, the owners and the fans at some point though have got to come together and get behind the manager.
However we sacked Ged after finishing 4th, Rafa after one bad season, sacked Roy as he was in the bottom half at Xmas, sacked KK after finishing 8th - Brenny is doing worse than all of them and we're talking about giving him three years...this doesn't add up. He has got to improve things big time before the end of the season - yeah we're in transition, but it's not rocket science given the players we've got, some winnable games coming over the next couple of months so let's see where we are come Jan...
