Who is asking to sack him NOW? I might have missed this, most people are saying let's judge him at the end of the season and above 8th should be the minimum target.
You shouldn't keep a manager who is not taking the club forward and a year is sufficient enough to take a view.
If Chelsea would have kept AVB last season, I don't think they would have won the Champions League, so changing managers is not wrong if you are improving.

I don't understand why you are saying this. I had my doubts when he was signed as according to me he did not have enough credentials to take such a complex job whereby everybody has huge expectations and the team has been performing below expectations for a number of years. In addition, his start did not help his cause at all, in fact, it added to the doubts. Despite all this and not agreeing with his Tiki Taka philosophy (as we do not have the right players), I always said that it would not be fair to give a judgement before the end of the season, and the best way to judge is to compare with last season where we underperformed, i never asked for top 4 and said if ever we qualify for Champions league it would be a miracle made by him. What do you mean by not giving him a chance, having doubts?

It's your opinion, but, to me having doubts doesn't mean not giving a chance, if I had said no way he should become our manager then yes + I had doubts because he hasn't gained much in the game. I did not have doubts with Paisley, Fagan, Dalglish as they came through the system and they knew the ins and outs of our success. I had no doubts with Souness and even Evans neither, for the same reasons but was wrong. Having doubts is not a problem, as I only wish to have it cleared as long as we are moving forward.

Completely flawed logic propping up this thread I'm afraid.
It takes a lot of money to chop and change managers - then there is the fact that an incoming manager wants to put his stamp on the playing personnel, often selling the last manager's players at a loss and bringing in expensive new buys. There is no continuity whatsoever.
It's all very well citing Real Madrid and the Milans changing managers every season but they have lots of money for world class players - we don't. It's a poor comparison and an impossible standard for us to compete with. At some point you have to start a programme and stick with it - and I think that's what FSG is doing with BR. I know our growing slice of fickle fans loose patience after a few weeks but they're gonna have to lump it for a season and see where it takes us. Start as many BR out threads as you want - he'll get at least a full season and probably the full 3 years to build the club. Here we go again, I think you don't understand when I say BR has to be judged at the end of the season. That said, it's normal to have a view on how we are progressing towards the end of the season. I agree that changing managers disrupts progress, but, that cannot be a reason to keep any manager if he is not the right person (not saying that BR is not the right person, we'll know at the end of the season). Just saying that BR is the best manager we can ever have and we'll see this in 3 years time is also fickle. The difference between AVB and RDM became obvious after less than 3 weeks let alone 3 years. Now if you have blind faith in BR, that's your opinion and I would be happy if you are proven right. I don't have anything for or against the guy, I just want to see LFC improve.

No point in changing things up now or at the end of the season for that matter. BR needs to be backed through at least another 2 transfer windows to show what he can do. In his first window he has already brought us a gem in Joe Allen so lets give him a chance.

Vish seems to be saying give BR 1 more transfer window and then judge him at the end of the season. Dr Jules suggests at least 2, which potentially means making a call before Jan 2014.
