My fellow football fans!

I looked at Koptalk this morning and what do I see? Barking mad threads about sacking Rodgers after 3 months and being replaced by Benitez or ANO. And nothing about Suarez goal. What a goal! Enrique’s pass was one of the best I have ever seen in my life and Suarez control on the chest and guiding past the goalkeeper was sublime. One of the best goals I have seen in many a time and truly of world class standard.

So how about some mention of this?

Stan enough of that enthusiasm.

Listening to you one would think that we had a brilliant striker had scored a wonder goal and that we had completely dominated the match.

Next you will be telling me that we are unbeaten in 5 games in the league. wink

I know Shaggy I am starting to go light headed.

Hopefully this will curtail some of the Suarez is no good talk. Given Gerrards age I think he is our only player you could argue is world class. Whatever that generic term means

I agree, top notch. Was in the centinary stand, in line with the edge of the box and was just in shock. That's what you call a hail Mary pass, Suarez had no right to just kill it dead the way he did, but even better was the second touch to take it round the keeper!

On another note, am I the only one who thinks Collocini might have actually been attempting to seriously injure Suarez? Maybe the Argentina/Uruguay thing, maybe the fact that Suarez ran him ragged all game. Either way, was disgusting to see.

And then you'd have me believe we were 5 points off the bottom 3, with no strikers and a manager who got rid of any goal threat we had with Bellers, maxi and Kuyt and kept hold of Henderson, Downing and thinks Jonjo Shelvey is the next Steven Gerrard!!!!

PS: World class goal, from a world class player, who doesn't deserve our team, will soon realise, at which point we won't be 5 points off the bottom 3, we'll be there, right in amongst them

Too many people on here seem to think we are too big a club to go down, far too many people, these people will get a lovely shock come 4 months time when we are fightingf for our lives!.

Truly brilliant goal, and enrique says it was 'planned' before the match. yeah right
Did enrique also 'plan' to lose the ball and mess up crosses during rest of match??

I think BR is doing a great job of cleaning up the mess his predecessor left behind him.

Too many people on here still idolise the man who blew £100m and took the club backwards.

BR didnt sign Henderson or Downing and tried to move both players on in the summer.

But hey, it's easier to blame the present manager than admit that the legend was at fault.

Suarez has just signed a new contract so I'm not sure what inside information you have?

Give the manager time to make his mark and stop writing him off after 9 league games 5 of which were against the teams that finished above us last season..

Shaggydog, i, not for 1 minute support the so called "legend" you refer to. Infact, i firmly believe that our blind loyal faithful fail to realise that Mr Dalglish has done more damage to this club with that 130m, than any other manager we have ever had.

Dalglish is solely responsible for the current shambles, let's not hide that away because of his so called "legendary status".

Infact, i'd go as far as to say that his legendary status should be taken away for the shambles he has left our club in.

Unofficially I think it has.

Anyway past legends are ok but I prefer future ones.

Yes, and we'd prefer BR to be that future one, but he has to put his foot down and drive a hard bargain with the owners if he is to be that.

Look at rafa, when he wasn't backed, he put it out there and made the fans aware of G & H, had he not have done, we might be talking out of the championship as we speak.

BR has potential, but allot of people on here have said today that this ia a results business, which it is, and he has to start focusing on that ahead of tikki takka etc.

The owners need to buck up, we need 3 attackers in Jan, BR should lay the law down, if he doesn't, he would have written his own demise, and will deservedly be forced out.
