Rodgers may not get all season. He needs results now.
I'm not saying I want him out but I'm saying if results don't pick up he will not last. our aim is not to perform well and not get results. Sorry we had that with kenny.

P.s I hope Rodgers does get more time. But expectations as you should know if you don't, are high. The bars been set high and long may it stay high.

Go ahead you have the last word

I thought again, we started the second half quite well on the forward foot but as Newcastle already had the one goal lead they sat back and soaked up the pressure quite well, it was always going to be hard in that situation because two of our three forwards Sterling and Suso both lack experience of breaking down a tight packed defensive unit. I think when we scored the goal Newcastle still never came out to try and take the lead again but instead settled for what they already had and we just could'nt manage to force another goal, It's just a pity that those couple of late chances fell to Jonjo who had only just came on and was still trying to find his match legs. Overall very pleased with the style of football and think if we carry on in this vein it wont be too long before those draws turn into wins, wont be next against Chelsea but maybe against Wigan who we have a dreadful record against.

Did you go to the same game last year Joe? Do you remember how we played? If i am not mistaken we were without Suarez but beat them 3-0. I remember a very entertaining game...from my sofa of course.

Faz have you looked at the table mate? 11 points from 10 games. Very dire. Results needs to improve very fast. I listened to his post match interview and it kind of [oops] me off too. He always seems to say the same things, we were outstanding and should of won, we were far from outstanding infront of goal besides that moment of magic from Suarez.

This is a tough period and we're just treading water until we get a couple of decent and experience new players in the mix. But all is not lost. Don't you think this struggle will help Suso, Sterling and co become better players in the future?

The youngsters have been the bright spark in this dire season so far. I have nothing against them, they have came in and proven themselves so well done to them but at the same time these youngsters are not the ones that are going to get us up there competing for Europe, we need more depth.

I think we have more pace in the team than under Kenny , but until FSG open their wallets n bag us a PROVEN striker. Until that day comes we're gonna see more games n results like yesterday.
Sadly , I fear if we don't move on next season (up the league or in Europe or both) then Suarez'll be offski for Champs League football.
Hope I'm wrong.

agreed , another shoulda coulda woulda game , but did enough to win but cant score enough .

I enjoyed the way we played today and have done in a number of games this season so I think we are heading the right direction. Granted our finishing is still s****, but I have my fingers crossed that we can grab someone in January to help with that. if we had any sort of goal scorer in our side they would be scoring tap-ins for fun.

Same old story, play nice football with absolutely no end product. We are still 4-5 players from being top 4. Same as always.

Can BR attract a quality striker or two whilst we are in 12th position. Unlikely at best. More likely to be more in the Borini class than the Huntlaar class.

It's simple for me. It's hard to ask youngsters to do a mans job. You can bring 1 or 2 through at a time but to ask 4-5-6 youngsters tocome into the first team and deliver? No

These people being optimistic are crazy. We are 12th. 0 points from 11 games.
It's like saying ohh I've got the runs but atleast I'm near a toilet. You've still got the runs. Excuse the metaphor.
