That ref should be interviewed and questioned, seriously why the [oops] do you put your flag up 20-30 secs after the goal? Why not straight away when you know its offside? The linesman got it wrong and he knows it, cost us the win. Just can't explain the decision. They are lucky to get away with it.

It was a joke of a decision. So late in the game, with no time to do anything about it. We should call for retrospective points right now...

And the worst thing... that picture shows that 2 players were playing him on, had the ball been played forward... and no need because he was already behind play!

If anything it could have been a free kick to Everton for Coates climbing on the back of the Everton defender, but offside??? No way!!!
On the other hand we could easily have gotten a pen against us when Shelvey seemingly axed Baines down at our by-line.
Also when you look at the Opta stats from the game you can see that Everton clearly dominated the game.
Apart from the goal we were robbed of I think a 2-2 draw would have been a quite fair result.

Before the game I'd have settled for a draw, and despite us throwing a 2 goal lead away, I'd still have taken a draw, because it wouldn't have been the fair result, but to have the 3 points snatched away at the end in that matter, stings.

Van I understand what your saying and I think the fans could of taken that disallowed goal a bit lighter had the linesmen made a decision quickly but its a farcical decision, he waits several seconds while Suarez celebrated until he gets his flag up, its a horrendous call and not one you see every week. The linesmen [oops] it up big time and that's why all of us are livid by the decision.

Agreed, that's exactly how I feel too. By the way: Jones' mistake on the first goal ended up costing us 2 points! What a needless mistake that was! Punching the ball into the exact area on the whole pitch where you shouldn't! Why didn't he just steer the ball out over the by line to a corner?

If he had to dig that deep to find something to wave the flag for, then he should just have let it go ffs. And Coates climbing on the Everton defenders back just isn't his call to make either!
