its only two days away so its only right we have a thread on it. we have a small matter of a derby on sunday so heres my team
.......................Jones
McLaughlin......Carragher..........Coates........ jose
.....................Henderson
.......Teixeira ..................Sahin
...Suso................Yesil............Assaidi
if teixera isnt fit then j messi cole. am playing sahin in this game because on sunday i will play jonjo. the games going to be hard and jonjo isnt scared of getting stuck in That's a decent team. Where have you pulled Teixeira from? I haven#t previously seen him mentioned near the first team? Not sure he's ready for that jump. I'd start Shelvey there in his place. Right back will be a very interesting one. Johnson and Wisdom seem to be the favoured FBs at the moment, which means they'll be needed for all the league games, so this game would be a good chance to give them a rest and give other players a chance. From what I've seen so far since BR came in, I don't think he fancies Flanagan. I think he's a bit too much of an old school style player (despite his young age), so it'd be interesting to see if McLaughlin does get a look in. I'd love to see Yesil get a game. Or even Morgan, but I'd prefer Yesil. If anyone is in need of rest at this stage of the season then they should seriously start looking for another job.

I'm not sure we will get away with playing an under strength team against this lot. All depends on how seriously we gonna take this completion.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

For me Rodgers got it wrong last round by having Suarez, Gerrard and Sterling on the bench. If your going to use them you mays well start them, not put them on the bench!
We should have gone all out to beat Udinese and suddenly were in pole position to qualify and we could have rested players for trips to Italy and Russia.
At the end of the day it's a European competition, Atletico Madrid have won it twice recently and that helped them sign players like Falcao, Arda Turan and Diego Godin, real top quality players!
I understand our squad is thin but winning away in Switzerland gave us a real platform to progress from this group which we then threw away against Udinese and are now back to square one...

I'd love to see Jordon Ibe involved, reminds me of Oxlade Chamberlain, obviously much more raw but he has lots of pace and a similar build.

I would say Carra, Coates, Downing, Assaidi, Henderson, Shelvey and Cole (if fit) are sure to play. Then fill the gaps. I expect Enrique will play too but I'd rather Robinson played.
In God we trust. Everyone else is a suspect.

( was saving the main players for sunday)

Full strength I expect, they have some top players like Eto'o, Samba and Zhirkov to name a few...

They only just finished in the top half of the russian premier league last season, behind such giants as Kuban Krasnodar, Rubin Kazan and all 3 Moscow teams. They can't be quite as good as people are fearing.
