Sorry mate, with IFS we can win, draw and lose all games. There are always events and cicumstances in any game, you can get lucky or unlucky once, but when it's trice, it's a trend confirming we were better than them in the head to head matches.

They have been over performing, we have been under performing.
We finally got the home win we needed to take some pressure off and calm us.
I think they got found out yesterday, battered in every area of the park by QPR yesterday, were lucky to get away with a draw. Plus peinarse will be missing due to his red card and Fellaini could still be out with injury. I think we'll do well. Big occasion. disagree I dont think we are underperforming, I think this team reached it's peak a few seasons ago and is on it's way down, players like Gerrard, Carragher, Kuyt, Torres, Bellamy, Maxi have either left or the players still there have had there best days behind them and the players we have brought in have not really stopped the slide, talking about Downing Henderson, Adam and Enrique. I think player for player the Blues are edging us and look a better team collectively, just hoping in a one off game we can raise our game and pull off a result like we did last season. We have improved over last year in terms of squad with Sterling, Suso and Allen/Sahin replacing Bellamy, Kuyt and Adams with Kuyt hardly effective last season. Beating them was not a once off as we did it trice if I am not mistaken. We should be able to win with a better manager how on earth can you say we have improved on last season, we only had five real goalscorers or players who looked like they could score in the team Gerrard, Bellamy, Suarez, Kuyt and Maxi and we have lost three of them, the players you mention might be good in the long term but as we speak they will not get you the same number of goals as what we have let go.

i believe it will be a win for us but i could also easily see a draw. i don't, however, think it will be a loss. it won't be an easy game for us, that's for sure. as a side note, it seems like a lot of people on here focus on strictly the negatives and call it realism, and then tell anyone focusing on the positives that they have false hope and all that. in reality, it's just two sides of the same coin. i am not directing this toward anyone, in particular...just an observation.

I think we have seen what happens when you concentrate on the positives all the time pretending things are not really that bad, you go nearly 25 years without winning the League.

If scoring goals was our biggest weakness, I wonder why our most expensive purchase was a midfielder. If BR needed Kuyt to score goals, I am sure he would have convinced him to stay and both him and Maxi were shipped out as they were sure of not getting games. For Bellamy though, BR wanted to keep him. So whatever you and me say, BR had 20-25 to spend + younsters to improve the team which i am sure in his mind he did, if he says otherwise, FSG will kick his ass after having a net positive spent.

Draw with 1 or 2 red cards, a controversial penalty decision and Liverpool hitting the woodwork three times!
