Sorry to be negative but if I was betting under the current circumstances they win 2-1.
But I hope we thump them 3-0

we normaly raise our game against Everton so am hoping we will do it this week however Everton are now a better team than us so it's going to be really difficult.

They have been over performing, we have been under performing.

We finally got the home win we needed to take some pressure off and calm us.

I think they got found out yesterday, battered in every area of the park by QPR yesterday, were lucky to get away with a draw. Plus peinarse will be missing due to his red card and Fellaini could still be out with injury. I think we'll do well. Big occasion.

disagree I dont think we are underperforming, I think this team reached it's peak a few seasons ago and is on it's way down, players like Gerrard, Carragher, Kuyt, Torres, Bellamy, Maxi have either left or the players still there have had there best days behind them and the players we have brought in have not really stopped the slide, talking about Downing Henderson, Adam and Enrique. I think player for player the Blues are edging us and look a better team collectively, just hoping in a one off game we can raise our game and pull off a result like we did last season.

You mean the game that was completely in the balance until Rodwell was sent off? I don't think we raised our game last year to be honest, it was a poor game, like most derbies. What usually happens is Everton lose their heads, especially at home and try to kick everything that moves!

I think the 2 sides are very even at the moment, I've picked a team out of both squads, what do you think?

GK - Howard (Due to Reina's current form but I think Pepe is a better keeper)
LB - Baines
CB - Agger
CB - Jagielka
RB - Johnson
CM - Lucas
CM - Gerrard
CM - Fellani
FW - Sterling/Pienaar
CF - Jelavic
FW - Suarez

We have improved over last year in terms of squad with Sterling, Suso and Allen/Sahin replacing Bellamy, Kuyt and Adams with Kuyt hardly effective last season. Beating them was not a once off as we did it trice if I am not mistaken. We should be able to win with a better manager

think there was some mitigating circumstances in some of those victories last season, the game at Goodison would of been different if the Ref had'nt made the mistake of sending Rodwell off, the game at Anfield Moyes made the mistake of resting about 8 or 9 players in anticipation of the forthcoming Semi Final and the game at Wembley hinged on the Distin backpass when Everton where cruising and we were struggling at the time, for these reasons I would'nt look too much into last seasons results, there is absolutely nothing between the both Clubs, home advantage might sway it.
