I must say that I agree totally to the thiking but I would add that as long as the Americans feel that they can get a penny out of Liverpool fc they will not move away. At the end of the day they only want to have MAXIMUM returns on their investment and that would be on the fans' back. They bought LFC only because on the fan base which is unfortunately slowly eroding. I live in Mauritius and have been supporting LFC for the last 30 yrs or so (since I was 10) and now I am doing everything I can in my weak position to get them out. Every year I buy a LFC kit even if I need to go to South Africa to get a genuine one (I never buy the fake ones which are all over the place here as nothing goes to my beloved club). This year, I decided not to buy any LFC merchandise at all. I was in London in December and fought away all the temptation even when things were being sold at half price everywhere. I think that merchandise sale going down by a significant proportion will definitely get the owners thinking big time. Some local fans should stand in front of the merchandise shop to discourage fans from buying merchandise and this message should be sent worldwide. Not buying season tickets might be another option but that might just get all players to look to move away as the Kop atmosphere will not be there for them. So let us all just let them know that we are no longer willing to just fill their pockets as long as they don't invest in the club

We need to stop buying merchandise and let them know that we mean it as long as they do not invest. I did it this year and will continue. They will stay as long as cash flow is positive and the bigger portion of revenue comes from fans buying merchandise from all over the world. They will feel it immediately if we all stop
